Lapidary cut and polished, Type 1, Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon set in sterling silver, with an industrial mini-hammered finish. Open bezel back. Silver, white and black, alternating layers creating orbital patterns. cool!

The salvaged and re-purposed material set into this piece began as a hunk of cured auto paint overspray that was harvested as a byproduct of the automotive industry.
